Accessing the Maternal and Child Health Biobank Samples
Open Access Policy
The Maternal and Child Health Biobank has an open access policy with the intention of making biological material and data as widely accessible as possible and promote collaboration on an international scale. Biological materials and data held by the bank may be shared to both academic and industry researchers in both the private and public sectors.
Conditions
Access to the biological materials and data on the biobank may only be granted by the access committee and must meet certain conditions.
Research projects must coincide with the objective of the biobank, must be of scientific value and scientifically sound, must be performed and presented by qualified researchers, and must be approved by a duly constituted Research Ethics Board.
